America House is a planned observational documentary television series chronicling a two-year social and civic experiment in Virginia. Creators, entrepreneurs, artists, public servants, and citizens live, work, disagree, collaborate, and attempt to solve real problems together.
The story is in the decisions, relationships, setbacks, and small acts of follow-through. The series would selectively observe those lives over time—not turn every activity in the community into an episode.

The proposed editorial approach is character-driven direct cinema: observe what happens, with no ending to enforce.
No contestants. No eliminations.
Participation is not a game or a competition. Documentary selection, informed consent, and releases are separate from community membership.
Leave room for the unexpected.
Disagreement, uncertainty, and failure belong in the story. Civic work may be observed, but the series is not designed as an election countdown, a news program, or political advertising.

Rooted in Virginia.
Still in development.
Principal photography has not started. The series is in development; the filming schedule and production arrangements are still being finalized.
The plan is to base principal filming primarily in Virginia and work with Virginia crews, vendors, and production services, subject to the final budget, schedule, permissions, and agreements.
DeFiance Media is the proposed production arm. Its intended responsibilities include contracting, production, channel operations, and rights administration. The contracting entity, rights structure, and any Film Office applicant remain to be confirmed; this page does not assert a separate incorporated company or a finalized production agreement.
Daily livestreams, podcasts, social channels, working sessions, and convenings have their own purposes outside this series. Trailers and excerpts may later promote the documentary, subject to rights. They are not its production format.
Participation, consent, and access
An application to collaborate with the community is not documentary consent, a casting guarantee, housing, or permission to visit. Any documentary participation must be separately discussed, selected, and documented through appropriate agreements and releases.
Permissions and incentive status
No filming or property-use approval, broadcast commission, financing commitment, or Virginia incentive eligibility is claimed here. These require project-specific review and supporting arrangements. A documentary description does not itself establish permission for activities at the residence.
