Support from America.co and Election.org is counted together. Confirmation shows access to an email address or phone number, not verified identity or voter eligibility.
A support count does not enact a law. This is not a vote, an official petition, or evidence of a majority.
Strengthen federal spending disclosure and verification. Build on existing systems, close reporting gaps, and make missing evidence visible. This is a proposed framework for a bill, ready for policy and implementation review.
Require appropriate supporting records for covered payments, with reviewable explanations when records are missing. Standards should fit contracts, grants, and other payment types.
Link spending authority, awards, recipients, payments, and relevant subawards through consistent identifiers and searchable records.
Propose a 30-day disclosure standard for covered records, with downloadable data, correction history, and a documented reason for each lawful exception.
Provide independent audit access to unredacted records, risk-based checks, public compliance reports, and deadlines to correct failures.
Protect benefit recipients, personal identifiers, medical data, and legitimate security information. Publish safe summaries; preserve authorized oversight access.
Set agency responsibilities, phased deadlines, enforcement procedures, and implementation funding. Address missing paperwork without automatically interrupting essential benefits.
Federal spending disclosure and audits already exist. GAO’s 2026 review identifies continuing reporting and data-quality gaps, including certain agreements and subawards. The proposal should close those gaps and improve the evidence behind the data.
Transparency can support prevention and accountability. It still needs reliable controls, independent review, and enforcement. Fraud, waste, and payment errors are different problems; a missing record alone does not prove fraud.

No. Better records can help expose problems and support prevention. Effective controls, independent oversight, enforcement, and ongoing review are also necessary. This proposal is one concrete reform.
No. Public Receipts is a working title for this v0.1 policy framework. Scope, legal drafting, costs, exceptions, and enforcement need review. No sponsor, bill number, endorsement, or passage is claimed.
The shared counter measures confirmed, deduplicated contact signups supporting this proposal version. Confirmation verifies access to a contact channel. It does not verify a unique person, citizenship, voter eligibility, or a legal petition signature. Two different contact channels may belong to the same person.
No. The proposal calls for supporting records and authorized audit access, with public disclosure that protects personal data and legitimate security needs. Exceptions should have a defined basis and appropriate oversight.

Confirmed supporters receive an opaque personal link. When someone follows it and confirms new support, the service can credit that referral once. Share actions and copied links are recorded separately; they do not count as supporters. No contacts are imported and no voter profile is created.
This Public Receipts campaign runs across America.co and Election.org, with the shared support service operated through Election.org. We use the email address or phone number you submit to confirm your support for proposal v0.1, prevent duplicate counts and abuse, and respond to your requests. Your contact details are encrypted in the campaign database and are not public.
Resend processes your email address to deliver the confirmation email. If phone verification is available, its provider notice appears beside the contact form before you submit your number. A signup does not authorize marketing or newsletter enrollment. We do not import contacts, send invitations automatically, or publish a list of supporters.
Your browser keeps a random visitor identifier and signed page assignment in local storage. Those values contain no contact details and let the service keep your treatment consistent. The server records the assigned message, referring support link, proposal version, confirmation and withdrawal status, timestamps, and basic view/share/copy events. Referral links contain opaque random codes, never your email or phone. The shared service can connect a confirmed signup and its credited referral across these two campaign sites; it does not track your activity on unrelated pages or build a voter profile.
Pending contact details are cleared after seven days. View and share events are removed after 90 days, and short-term abuse-rate records after 48 hours. A confirmed contact is retained while support is active; withdrawal clears that contact and removes active support from the count. Pseudonymous, hashed support and referral history can remain for duplicate prevention and aggregate measurement. Email jack@election.org from your signup address to ask for access, correction, withdrawal of support, or deletion. Confirmed supporters also receive a private withdrawal link. Withdrawing removes your active support from the count. For a phone-only signup, contact that address for a review of your request without sending identity documents.
Vercel hosts these sites and may retain ordinary connection and security logs. Resend and any active phone verification provider may retain delivery/security records under their own terms. Read the site privacy policy for general site practices. This campaign notice describes the specific signup and referral flow above.
