Is economic output growing after adjusting for inflation?

What the number means
Change in inflation-adjusted gross domestic product from the preceding quarter, at an annual rate.
The quarterly growth rate is annualized. It is not a twelve-month growth rate and should not be compared directly with year-over-year CPI. Output growth also does not tell us who benefits or whether wellbeing improves.
Seasonally adjusted annualized growth is not year-over-year growth. GDP does not measure distribution or wellbeing.
A better question to ask
Pair economic-development claims with jobs, household incomes, distribution, and independently verifiable project outcomes.
This is a prompt for investigation, not evidence that a particular policy works. A trend alone cannot establish a cause.
