@prophetmode ↗America.co / A public-interest network
We connect creators, civic technology and public participation. The goal is practical: help people understand the systems around them—and find a useful way to contribute.
A clear introduction. Work you can inspect.
Tools make the record usable. Stories make the work understandable. People make it real.
A working direction. Not a claim of completed outcomes.Four ways to understand the mission
Each page shows the practical idea,
work you can inspect and planned priorities.
People should be able to understand an election without becoming a full-time researcher. We’re connecting source-linked records, useful explainers and creators who can make the information understandable.
Understand the work →A budget should be something people can understand—not a maze they give up on. We’re building clearer ways to follow spending, ask better questions and return to the original record.
Understand the work →Accountability works better when people can inspect the same facts. We’re making bills, commitments and oversight pathways easier to find, understand and question.
Understand the work →America.co brings creators, builders and public-interest projects together around one practical idea: make useful work easier to understand, find and participate in.
Understand the work →Why these belong together
Public information is only useful when people can find it, understand it and use it. That’s why America.co connects civic software with clear stories and people who build.
We are not claiming to replace public institutions or that every project is finished. We’re creating practical entry points, testing what helps and inviting people to examine the work.

Jack Jay and Sydney Thackray are founding members of America House. The network brings together creator-led media and civic projects so the people making useful things can show their work.
Our case is the work you can inspect—not a claim that we have already solved these problems. The tools have limits. Sources need checking. There is more to build.

The priorities on this page describe planned work: research and source checks, product maintenance, accessible design, hosting and clear public explanations. They are not a published restricted-fund budget or a promise of a particular result. Ask for a written scope before considering a larger grant or sponsorship.
The payment recipient is Election Powerhouse, Inc., using a dedicated America.co support checkout. The verified hosted link accepts one-time support. This is not the separate Election.org support program.
No charitable deduction is promised. This is not presented as a tax-exempt charity appeal. America.co has committed to a public benefit corporation structure; the existing public statement says filing is pending, not complete.
Use the tools before deciding to support. Inspect the linked sources and methods, report a correction, and ask the team what is planned next. We do not display invented donation totals, testimonials, results or deadlines. Support questions go to jackson@america.co.
Make the next step concrete

Payment recipient: Election Powerhouse, Inc.. Supports America.co’s overall public-interest work; this page does not create a restricted fund. Voluntary support, not a candidate or political-committee contribution, an investment, or a purchase of access. No charitable tax deduction is promised.
